thank you Firemane its mostly watercolor, there is a little gold leafing and color pencil touch up (I'm not a watercolor purist whatever works!

Whoaa... looks great.. its so soft, would that perhaps be cuz of the soft color pencils? I envy those skills of yours

awww thank you! I think its more the watercolor more than the pencils for the softness. I have a light hand ... sometimes too light and my scanner has a hard time picking up the images

ah I know that problem, have you tried photographing it? Sometimes that works better, but you need one of those expensive cameras...

yes... thats what I did with east of sun west of moon.. but it came out really dark and shadowy ... guess I need one of those cameras
