Description
This is another drawing of Sora. I used one of the game screenshots for reference...that was interesting. I can see better than I thought, even if it is from straight polygons. So I know now that I am still improving. Anyways, these two drawings are mostly tests. The next is the one I will be using to compete with Lunarsun, muwahaha. Get ready...the next will be colored and cleaned up before I even show it here. I hope you like this anyway.Related content

The face does look a little "pointy" for Sora and the expression looks strained. I'm guessing you were going towards a more etheral/other worldly feel? Make the eyebrows relaxed and maybe make the hair seem to float up.
I don't have this game so I don't know WHAT the oringinal pose was supposed to be. Someday...I'll pick up my preordered copy....<_<

Yeah, I am going to tweak the face some...though I am not sure what you mean by him looking strained. And strangely, his hair doesn't change any...though everything else seems to float. And yeah, you should pick up the game...I couldn't stop until I got to the end. That game gave me so much inspiration it is a shame. At first I was going to have the eyebrows relaxed, but I wanted this to be like the first time it happened and he is like..."WTF?" As he has no idea what is going on.

Well, as for this sketch from what I can gather is ... that you need to work a bit on the chin & even how you stretch the face. You are making Sora too jagged there, and it's kind of throwing off your drawing a little bit. Other than that you have his body perfectly ... it just seem to be the face that is giving you trouble. Also the pose is awsome ... he looks like he is kind of floating down or something.
So, you are getting in a lot of practice before the final one, huh? Anyway, all I can tell you about my Sora is that it won't be digitally done in any way, because I get to go home today & that means that I no longer have access to a computer that can do that sort of thing.

Heh, well this is a first. The body is right, but the face isn't? LOL! I'll tweak the face a bit, I kind of see what you mean. I really like this one, because it has a much better pose than Roxas and I am doing better at making hands look more natural. Hands used to tear me up. It is just really cool to see myself improve....for real. And yes, I am getting much practice in before the final....hehehe.

Wow this looks really good, I like the pose quite a lot. The hands are awesome, especially their positioning and how the fingers look, the way you've drawn the fingers curling in on his right (viewer's left) hand is very natural. His expression is neat too :]
