Yea...well, the work is kinda nice, but spilling a whole bottle of black India Ink on my white carpet is not
And the worse is, the ink is not just at one part...I mean, it dropped from the table and SPLASHED everywhere...
I tried a bunch of cleaning methods and got a lot out, but the carpet is still patchy grey...damn.
Submitted the work in traditional because it's mostly done traditionally, I only used PS to do some colour tinting and got rid of some excess splashes...

lol it's really not much, I first did the line work in ink with an extra fine pen tip, then put some tones in with ink washes, and finally throw some ink splatter on it.
Then scan into computer, open in PS, adjust levels, get rid of the white (as in make it transparent).
Then select all the splashes and put them into a different layer, colour adjust it to red.
Go back to the layer with the figure, and colour tint it with an orange/brown to make in looks like ink tone.
As for my carpet...the ink didn't come out, and my mom is quite unhappy about it

haha dont worry about your mom. the artwork is awesome.. imma try my hand at painting since i suck at it on a level you would'nt know..

Don't know if you noticed, I spilled ink in class on one of my oversize life drawing...
Good thing it's life drawing so it doesn't matter and still looks nice lol

Still grey and patchy, so I rent a carpet cleaner today and got a lot more out, still dark at some spots but much better...

no, it IS bad...now that the carpet started to dry, the dark really shows up, it's bad. >_<

I would get more ink, and do a nice splatter job over the whole thing, if you have no success getting the spill up.
