I love infrared photography. I'd do alot more of it if it weren't such a pain to mess with the tripod and the filter all the time. For that exact reason, I'm thinking of getting a D80 and having it converted to dedicated IR capture. Then I can take IR shots exactly the same way as normal, and I'll take lots more than I do now.
