Description
A shot that I took before work one morning. The fog created a beautiful melancholy atmosphere, and I just had to go get my camera and take a few shots before leaving for work.Not much postwork, just a little levels if I remember correctly.
P.S. - I know some people will be bothered by the composition. Well, I like it that way.

I like the mist and the different tones it creates in the trees. And the sun adds just the right hint of colour

I love mornings like that, even though it's extremely rare I see them (New Mexico... *sigh*). You captured the feeling very well in this shot. It's one of those feelings that's very hard to describe in words, but a picture... perfect.

Thanks alot! I like it the way it is too. But you know how those first-year photography students around here can be. How they just love to tell you all about the rule of thirds and blah blah whatever. I agree with what Ansel Adams said, that there are no rules to good pictures, only good pictures.
