Description I build this wall around me
Made from my broken soul
Will it crumble or will it stay strong
My fists pound until they bleed
Blood is the mortar to my confinement.
Skin that binds the soul to this hell on earth
I sit and scream but no one hears me anymore.
Crying thinking of what’s to come.
I fight all who can get through
Even if I love them
Only a few are allowed to live in my misery.
Scarred and sobbing on the floor of my pain.
Words I say get warped and come out in shards to cut into those who I love.

Hm, yes, I often sing loudly in public because people pretend not to hear me. It makes the line "You shout and no one seems to hear" especially fun to sing loudly (Pink Floyd, of course) . . . I gave up on being noticed in general so I exercise at train stations and dance in the grocery store. Hehe.
