Almost a Greek sculpture but for one exception. He is alive, full of life, supple and appeals to ALL the senses. Unlike a cold marbel statue, he is warm and so very useable. Not seeing his face adds and element of mystery.

lol, I have fifteen different questions but I think they'd all seem really random and some of them might offend you so I'll keep them to myself. I like how you cropped the picture, and I like how strong that makes the lines. It really elongates the feel of the entire picture, and imho makes it easier to see the form as a whole, instead of parts (as we tend to see bodies). I'm also impressed that selfportraits come out this focused. I think if I tried self portraits they'd be total crap, but then I've never even tried studio pictures so I'm not really one to talk.

This image really reminds me of Greek mythis and Olympians relaxing in the sumptuous surroundings of their bath houses, after just completing their exercises for the day. Fantastic lighting which shows the body very well !!
