Title inspired by the popular parody of the 19th century song, After the Ball, depicting a debutant taking off various bits of her glad rags, followed by false nails, then false eyelashes, then a wig, and ending with her removing body parts that turn out to be prosthetic.In all the cyberpunk art I ever made, I could never imagine anyone sleeping while wearing their big, chunky cyberlimbs. The same with the vision prosthetics -- they just never seemed like they'd be comfortable enough to sleep in.
I'm so pleased to have the assets to make this piece: a moment of relaxation and vulnerability after a long day of cyberpunk adventures.
