I made this based on the idea of putting a conch to your ear and being able to hear the ocean, it evolved into singing snails, there is also some inspiration from this song but you might not get it because its in spanish www.youtube.com/watch?v=nOb-DE…

A Pokemon doesn't necessarily have to be part Rock-type or Steel-type to have a very high physical defense; Cloyster and Avalugg are notable examples.

I'd assume so, except Gardevoir, despite resembling a woman in a dress, is 50% male 50% female. Though to be fair, it's "dress" is actually part of its body.

The gender ratio for the Ralts family has felt rather odd before Gallade was introduced. Anyway, it is worth noting that Petilil and Lilligant are 100% female. And then you have Vespiquen and Salazzle, who are both 100% female, while their pre-evolutions have far greater odds of being male than female.

I don't if I wanted to use the moveset that you suggested. There isn't that much reason to run Surf when there's Liquid Voice Boomburst, they usually would have run Ice Beam. And Perish Song actually makes those with Water Absorb/Storm Drain immune to it if it has Liquid Voice.
