This 10 minute sketch was completed when I was holidaying at Kalbarri with my friends North of Perth. If you would like to see a couple of photos of taken of me in the drawing process go here: [link] ^^

At that time I was thinking: "Wow... The fate of the world Sonic is going to be adventuring in lies in his hands... Could he really be a threat to humanity without us knowing his true origins?"

I had this gut feeling that Sonic is not revealing something that he should... /= ) But then if that's the case it's not Sonic the Hedgehog himself at all ne?

Well I believe that these three hedgehogs hold the key to salvation of the kingdom in the City of Water that will eventually turn ablaze into the City of Fire. You can picture Blaze the Cat in this scene now can't you?

Anyway I hope you'll enjoy this sketch while I work on another coloured drawing tomorrow Saturday.

Oh and you know what? I reckon Sonic and the hedgehogs (in terms of their design and such) are getting sexier by the installment. The way they made him slender and slick defines Sonic Team's mission statement to the fans that they want to give that theme of 'coolness' and 'fast' on their latest game. Don't you think so? = ) Anyway Sonic's super cool and so are Shadow and Silver. (Ever wondered who gets the privilege of naming and designing these characters? Sigh... I wish I was one of that person who had the honour of desiging a character that will soon in future become so well known...! = ) ^^)
