A three part video series that explains my connection with a cut scene from the Sonic World Adventure/Sonic Unleashed series and how it's art direction inspired me to work on Twilight At Apotos.

Yeah this was part of experimenting with different versions of the end product that is Sonic & Chip with ice-cream on their hand (stand-alone layer). Very interesting to see how it can be manipulated to change a whole style altogether!
I really liked the softer and brighter look on this one compared to the final product!

I'll split this comment for each video.
1. Haha, wow! All those icecream flavors! (You got pinapple? Lol, I'm alergic!) XD I wonder how many flavors of cookie-dough and mint chocolate chop they had! Oh it makes me drool. Haha, I love how in the video before the scenes you pause every few seconds to chew your gum.
2. Ah you have a cold! I see now. Aww. Feel better! XD Haha, I love watching your videos. "Yeah, I'm crazy." XXD Anyway, you described it exactly with the art style. I mean, it is cartoony. It relates to old Sonic quite a bit. It's almost Sonic style! And I agree. The icecream man DOES look like mario. (First thing I thought when I saw the cut scene.)
3 "There it is... Beautiful aint it guys. *Sniff*" That had me laughing so hard. Well placed Sniff. Also, I hate seagulls! They're so mean! I remember last time they stole my sandwitch AND knocked over my soda can. Damn birds. Anyway, I really like how you added the textures and stuff. Man, my answers for textures is the leaf tool on an opacity, a smudge here or there and gaussian blur. XXXD *Shot* Anyway, wonderful final project. You have to be dedicated to finish it at Five Am.

Wow, I can't believe how long it has been since I took a break...
Anyway, great art; Chip looks quite amusing. I love how much you exaggerated his mouth, and the texture of the hair is quite nice. Texture is one of the things will be focusing on as an artist. You may want to look into it as well! The CGI pictures of Sonic in Sonic World Adventure/Sonic Unleashed show a lot of texture, and if you ask me, it looks very impressive.
Imagine what you could do with your characters in the TGAF series. It may take longer, but everything I've been upgrading myself on has taken my art more longer to produce, so it should be expected.
Another thing. I've noticed that your drawing style has changed. I'm not going to point out every little speck of difference, and I'm sure you realize it, I just had to say something concerning it. I have to say that it looks much better than before! ^^

I swallowed my pride for a bit and watched the videos (despites that I ignored the sonic parts to see the scenes in Italy, that is the most interesting 
That shop is almost all full of ice-cream flavours, I never saw one so big like that! Must have more than a kind of strawberry flavour there (my favourite)
