"and above all...create for your eye not the eyes of others" LOL, I had a massive argument with my art teacher (well one of them) today about how art is supposed to be your interperatation on something or your own invention, and how it shouldnt be doing something because someone says i should.
So yeah, i found that funny.

Hehe well I didn't mean if in an art class and given specific instruction for a technique or a style to reproduce, as all things are subjective so is art, however during the learning process one can use thier own styles but maybe the grades will be effected by inferior results...dun take it to heart and merely learn from it....*S*

LoL, no, we werent set anything in particular, thankfully. I was arguing with her about the work she had started my brothers GCSEs with. The starting point was supposedly African Masks, but she had made 2 year 10 classes start with that, and then wouldnt let them expand on it, but made them make an african style mask. I said it wasnt truly art if she told 40 people to make the same thing, thats just child labour.
So anyway, yeah, im feeling better after that little rant; thanks.

Look at the textures! I always think that if you are going to show something a little foreign to our normal experience, like this girl's fx; it helps to surround the "special" with "real." Your textured metals are so wonderfully real looking. The lighting on the top "unit" perfectly displays the subtle lettering. Nice composition as well. The little "look around the corner" on the right side, to me, seems to allow you to have used a flat undistracting backdrop for the action while maintaining the sense of being in a real 3d space.

First off let Me thank you for such a warm comment post on this...it was more taxing to myself and my renderbox than any other so far I think...Primarily due to the high graphic nature of all these textures you pointed out....I am still trying to find myself in this crazy digital world as you see by my scattering of subject material but one thing I think I do well with is composition...we have discussed that already
