Same here I have fake friends :/ all my other friends go to a different school and I'm quiet at school to. I just can't wait until highschool starts and trust me middle school sucks I know exactly how you feel iv been through so much drama in 8th grade I felt miserable but you're a very talented artist keep up the good work

I understand because I am also Asian. I just ignore such comments and keep on striding to become who I want to be. There are a lot of Asians in our school that I can tell that go through this. Just stay strong for all of us, I know you can . The world has changed so much from the stories my mom told me. I may be born in America, but I still stick to my Indian culture. Don't let 'racism' affect your life. I hope that being on DA with your friends will help.

I understand what you're feeling. I'm also Asian, and for a long time I took offense to the negative things they said about Asians. But now, I'm proud to be Asian and to be different and I don't care what they think or say. Just stay strong, okay? You have people here who care, and happy to give advice.

I hate racism. I'm "white". Am I proud? Nah, its just a colour. However, I'm going to drop a bit of a vent/two cents here for someone to pick up.

I'm tired of having people say its just the whites who make fun of blacks and Asians. Asians aside, SOME blacks CAN be so proud of their colour and that in itself is rather racist. Now that's not with all of them, of course, because nothing along the lines of these types of conversations can be an absolute Because, its not just whites. It just isn't. I'm tired of hearing that --I mean we can say things like "I love dark chocolate" and I'm sure a few would be mad like . I don't have any "black" friends, but that isn't because I'm racist! That's because I've never met someone that could be a friend to me. In fact, saying that whites are being racist to these people when the other "races" could be just as bad to the whites is RACIST in itself :c
I'll be honest, I have a very racist grandfather. But none of the racism has rubbed off on me --I'm just observing what I've said up there^^^

Again, I'm white. In fact, I'm Irish white... Meaning I'm a white cracker. I don't tan or anything. I remember when my mom took me to get my toenails done when I was a bit younger and, actually quite coincidentally, the lady, who was Asian, was like "do you go outside a lot?" because my legs were so white LOL. When someone makes fun of my colour, I laugh it off -I know I'm oddly white, I should tan, or whatever. I only get angry when I see people who say we're terrible people... Because sure, there ARE terribly racist whites out there, as there is in every race, but not all of the whites are racist :c

Aside from that,

bullying is terrible as well. Even if I have NO respect and NO sympathy for cutters and suicidal people, its terrible. Another two cents here, and no I'm not promoting bullying, is that many times I've heard stories about how the bullies themselves are abused terribly at home. Again, this is not an absolute. I'm sorry you're going through this bullying

I've seen it a lot of times since we have Chinese/ Asian/ Japanese people in our classes.

Atleast the school year is almost over for you and you can move on. Maybe over the summer they will learn that they were just a bully no one liked them. But maybe not and you just might have to face it.

Actually its not white people who are racist all the time, sometimes its blacks! I mean look theres a channel MADE for black people, called something black channel! If we did that and called "white channel" we would never live it down, the media would be all over it! There have also been black protesters yelling at other black people because they married a white person.

Its the same for all of them, even asians can be racist as well.

But even so I don't really see all the racism you're talking about. Yes, it exists. Definately. But are we putting black people in chains and having them work for us as slaves? no....

So what im trying to say is I think that you're assuming that people leave you out because you're asian, but its most likely not.

I'm far from racist however. Yes, I joke about races sure, even about myself! I am pale as pale can be, my best friend calls me a white cracker.

But ya, my best friend in the whole wide world is Hispanic, and i love her to death! My OTHER best friend is Asian, and he's awesome.

As for waiting for life to clear up--everyone you see here has a "problem" and it might not even seem big, but its big for them. BUT you may say "what theyre always happy!" well, thats because they CHOOSE to be happy. Its not easy, and it can take awhile to get out of sadness. But in the end its you and only you who can choose to be happy, no one else controls your feelings.

Awww... it's sad to hear that. I have never been bullied, but most of the things you mentioned have happened to me. I have an Asian friend and her eyes ARE small, and our classmates sometimes say that she has chinky eyes but most of the time it's just to tease her and isn't meant to give much harm. They know she isn't offended and laughs it off. Both of us wears glasses and always gets all A's so a lot of the students differentiates us by "the smart Asians" but again, they don't mean to discriminate. They always say it in a friendly tone like like we should be proud of it. Since me and her are always together, when we got different classes, my classmates knew that I was shy and probably felt lonely without her. They always try to talk to me and include me in conversations. Anyways, I'm not sure if the same thing is happening to you but even though the same thing is being said, the way it is said matters A LOT. It can varies from a friendly tease to being a bully. I just wanted you to know that there are always good people out there, it's just that you haven't met them yet. You shouldn't hurt yourself for what other people did. Someday you'll find people who are understanding. I've only been lucky so far. Your turn will come.

I can't stand racist people.
I have friends from everywhere, American, Swiss, Japanese, French, Senegalese, Australian, Spanish, Lebanese,...
I accept people for who they are and not where they come from.

I was never bullied for where I'm from. I was bullied when I was little because of my name, also because I was a bit slow to react. The last time that I was bullied was because I'm skinny and people told me that I needed to gain weight or I'd die and stuff.

I also can't stand it when people bully because when somebody wears glasses. I don't have that in my current school because the majority of student wear glasses but when I lived in London my friend was bullied because he couldn't see or hear very well.

Being Asian isn't always a bad thing.
I pride myself in being Asian because we know how to work, respect, learn and live a lot better than many others. When people make fun of me, I just go along with it. :3
If you went to my school I'd totally be your friend since most of the others of my race at my school (Filipino) have been corrupted by all the others. :/

Don't be sad, you'll eventually find someone who will accept you for who you are. Sometimes you don't even need to look, if you're yourself then they will find you.
