Description Every once in a while it really hits me what a cool place Second Life can be. Yes, it is a great platform for exploring exotic dreams and fantasies in a virtual space (and if you dig around in my DA gallery you know I've done my share of that! ) but sometimes something as un-exotic as working with a friend to construct a meaningful simulation of a meadow -- actually a grave site for a supernatural-themed RP, but I'm just being needlessly pedantic ^^ -- allows you to realize that other dreams come true in a very real way even in SL ...

... like friendships. This SL-scape has allowed me to connect with excellent people from all parts of the world, people I'd never have had the pleasure of meeting any other way. Initially brought together by shared kinks (something at which SL excels, I think) but naturally learning a bit more about each other over time and finding even more common interests. And if you are really lucky, through the viewer's screen you can also learn things about yourself & the world at large.

Which brings me to this image : Mack has been my Chesei in all sorts of mischief and fun in SL for a bit over three years, and for the last two of them as my "official" SL Partner ... and that anniversary milestone was a bit earlier this month.

So there isn't really anything that special in this image, but what it represents is hugely important to me ... learning from / laughing with / listening to each other for many years. (And looking forward to many more!)

Images in this set were composed, staged, & captured using resources available in Second Life ( [link] ), created by Linden Labs. Virtual wardrobe & props were purchased fairly & honestly using in-world currency (having a value of approximately 1 USD = 259 L$). By the terms of the SL virtual world all objects worn by or attached to the avatars are owned (or designed) by the avatars' "real life" counterparts.

(Of course, all SL avatars in this pic represent adults over the age of 21 "real-life" years ... but you knew that already!)
