Luce is a Paladin under the rule of Empress Pandora and leadership of a mysterious individual called Emeth. He is deeply religious and knows that he is serving the Creator Himself. However he only takes free offers and free weapons, for he is we.., a bit of broke actually. Although he serves his leader, he still finds Emeth to be strangely odd and not following the Creator's said Path. He doubts Emeth for his strange belief and resorts to following the Creator on his own. He is the second main character.

Equipment Info:
Armor: Freelance Paladin
For the noblest of nobles not wanting to be noble. These clothes are a requirement for the great paladins of the Insignia’s Order. Although not all of these knights wear these clothes, they still “forever” represent that each of the knights are of equal capability and power. What Luce is wearing may not look like the defensive type, but according to the Order, what matters is the wearer of the armor, not the armor itself. I agree. Therefore Luce’s drive makes him feel invincible.

Penance Launcher
A powerful blade that fires Energy Propelled Blade Grenades tht he says came from a Gypsy. That is a fact, since this blade doesn’t quite match what Luce is wearing. The legend of this sword is also mentioned in the Aencyclopedia Daemonum, despite being a newly created blade. It was a new addition to the Scripture of Records. It was a request from the dark archon Belial, from the Darkforgers. The forge took only half a day and so did the infusion of power. When Belial finally received it in his estate in Malebolge, he tested it on a piece of a Leviathan offspring and it couldn’t cut through it’s scales. So he had it augmented and his second try was successful. After using it to win a war, he assumed that he should let a powerful mortal warrior test it. So he implored a succubus in the form of a mortal gypsy to give it to a wandering, unarmed mortal for free if she came across one. Here it is now, and Belial awaits the day that it comes back to him through coincidence.

Darq Talon 2.0
An artificially made Darq Talon that rivals the strength of the original. It is a good copy nonetheless, but it is unknown how Luce obtained this powerful weapon, but this was not Richter Tarien’s blueprint according to the experts. Some of the people who know that he has this call it the Hand of Midas, a name which makes warriors think of greed and noobship. This Talon appears to be a pyrotechnical one, as it contains starfire from all kinds of stars. It only glows up depending on his emotion in use just like Nuvia’s Talons, but has a good flamethrower attribute. Blue flame is the maximum heat of the Talon’s Starflame. He uses it for his probable instant kill.

Luce is a mere mortal, so he is feeble in the eyes of many creatures, despite the Creator’s fondness of his race. He is one of the “smarter” ones however. He is however clueless at times and gets frustrated quick despite his no-need for help. However, he never gives up on something that he finds hard to do and would go forever just to get it done. Nuvia is his friendly (at some point) rival, but he always ends up losing to him in the end. On occasions the duels end up in a draw. He uses his knightly cunning and zweihander style to subjugate his foes although demons can break him like a twig.

Mental Abilities and Attitude
Luce, being human, does not bear any mental abilities that involve magic. His attitude (as his smarmy paladin) is as he thinks every knight should act. He acts noble (at least he tries) and is a gentleman. But when he is away from his unwanted nobility, he acts like any ordinary warrior ready for a fight. He assumes that he is being silently hunted for his left arm. Overall he is an intelligent warrior with a good sense of timing, but he is just like any other mortal in his physicality.

Combat: Swordsmanship
His fighting style is traditional style to that of knights: the zweihander. It uses two hands and is valuable for both defense and offense. Luce prefers blocking more than dodging because it proves that he can stand his ground against anything. He is confident that this style can beat anything he’s up against.

The Knights of the Sigil’s Insignia
The Order of the Sigil are a group formed by a knight who called himself Deuscalion. He formed the Order to “defend the faith” in the Creator. According to his followers, he was the reason that the Sword in the Stone was placed in the rock. It came to be Excalibur, a powerful blade that may have been as wanted as the authentic Darq Talons. When Deuscalion died, he was buried under the statue they made for him in tribute. Then a more powerful knight who many people know as Cestor Amud-Noctis came to ascend as new leader for the knights. At first, the knights denied his presence as new leader of the circle, but Cestor soon demonstrated his power and made them all realize that he had authority. His spear, the Clavicula Nox replaced Excalibur as the “waiting weapon” for Excalibur already had it’s chosen one. The Clavicula Nox is a spear equivalent of Excalibur, but has a darker history. A weapon wielded once by a Metal God. He fixed the Order and molded it into the Knights of the Sigil’s Insignia. Their symbolism now being the Clavicula Nox itself. The members are Cestor himself, Mortis Shadowborne, Centurion Stonegait, Mordigort Grimdeth, Orlock Blutsauger, Luce Wulfsbane and Lethe Rastege.

Way of Living
Luce says that being a Paladin in the Knights’ Order is only a job, and that he doesn’t want to live like a knight, but as a free man. He only speaks like an over-glorified papa’s boy when he does his job. In reality he speaks like a dignified man and NOT a sissy. He does not depend on anyone’s help and believes he can do things himself as he prefers. He wants to live a life away from quests and more adventure and freedom. Being deeply Christian due to the influence of the Order, he believes that in the end, the Creator will cleanse him of his sins and grant him life eternal.

Fun Facts: The Thing He's Doing "Right" About His "Job"
When Luce speaks in public as a paladin, he usually speaks like the flamboyant knightly kinda guy. Many people find this weird or even embarrasing, and so does he. He speaks this way almost everytime and treats it as "additional appeal" but it is not the way he really speaks. The truth is that he speaks like anyone else in Midgard who is well uhm...Human. He wishes his job done at last to be able to stop speaking like a total nerd who plays Warcraft TOO much
