Hello there! I've never sold any of these Trek heads previously, but I might think about selling casts now. (or fully painted ones if people are happy to go on my waiting list). I'll have to check to see what condition my moulds and original casts are in first. If I decide they're good enough then I'll put up a post everywhere (Facebook, Instagram, here, YouTube etc) - so as long as you're following me... you'll find out!! ππΌ

Thanks! I'm afraid I'm too busy to do any sculpt commissions at the moment. All my work right now is painting. Sorry!

I did these in sculpting wax. It's very slow for me though building it up drip by drip and sculpting it as I go. I'm going to be doing Kirk in about a month and I might try to do it in clay first to get the main shape and proportion then cast it into wax to do the details. I'll see what I can do.. I need to get faster! lol

Unbe'Smeggin'lievable, the likeness is uncanny. I've only just started really with sculpting, and have found a ton of good sculptors here on DA, but nothing compares to this. If it wasn't for your hand being there, I would swear it was a photo of the real McCoy........so to speak !,....erm, no pun intended.
It has been a dream of mine to get into the commercial sculpting scene, having my sculpts made into resin cast kits to sell, a dream I am at the moment doing my utmost to achieve, but after seeing this, I realise that I have one hell of a way to go yet.
Bowing down on tortured knees !.

I had to pick my jaw back up out of my lap when I saw this! It's uncanny (in a VERY good way) how very very realistic this is, in many ways. You captured the essence of McCoy, with the expression, detail, and paint. I don't know HOW you think that this is flawed. It's damn near perfect. You have an amazing talent with this medium. And I thought that BEFORE I saw the other amazing sculptures and repaints in your gallery.
I'm a huge Star Trek fan, and you've done this SO well, I'm looking at this expecting him to start talking or telling Capt. Kirk - "Dammit Jim, I'm a DOCTOR, not a sculpture!
Amazingly well done, once again. Thank you for sharing it with us!

Honestly, the best "Damn McCoy" I've ever seen. Is this gonna show up at Sideshow..? Because, if there is a set of these that's gonna be available, I might have to start saving my nickels and dimes.
Excellent!!
