This is probably one of the best drawn pictures of Bilbo and Dwarves I've seen... This is almost exactly what I imagine them to look like. ^ ^ Actually, I like this rendering more than Alan Lee's.

hahaha, awesome illustration from The Hobbit! Rarely does anyone illustrate this part. I like it! I like the color, the business, the way the edges fade to white, Bilbo's exasperated expression, and of course all the dwarves.

The watercoloring is soft and lovely and everything I'd expect to see in a hobbit hole... minus the dirty, sweaty dwarves.
The expressions and detail are great as well! Makes me want to re-read Tolkien (again).
