`NatalieKelsey requested "some kind of art (nothing obsessively detailed, mind you, something fast) with Sam Axe in it" for her birthday. So she gets a whole lot of paint I randomly hurled at the screen as if I were on fire. Happy Birthday, Nan! (for once on time).

Thanks so much, Far! This is awesome! And it looks like obsessive detail even though it's hurled paint. That's what I love about your work. Thanks for getting me into the show. I would never have discovered it and fallen for Sam without you! I like the expression you gave him. Focused and "I would die for my friends" kinda face. Makes you believe he really was a Navy SEAL back in the day.

You slave driver! I had like a grand total of like, three, four, five hours to work on it, from the moment you told me you wanted Sam. KIDDING! [Well, not actually. I *did* actually have about that long...]

Anyway, I'm glad you like it. I liked his Ash Williams in the Evil Dead movies, but Sam Axe is in a whole 'nother class of awesome. (My title for the pic, btw, before Sass suggested this infinitely better one, was 'Freelance superhero Robin Hood kinda guy' ). And blame Tory: she's the one who got *me* started on the series. It's a chain reaction, it is.

And slave driver! Ha! You didn't have to say yes, or get it to me in time for my birthday. You would still be my best ever twin. I just have to ask when I get the whim, cause I can't do it for myself. It's just my worst luck you don't ever need anything I have the talent for to pay you back with. Liiiiike...poetry on command or a pair of earrings or an impromptu a capella recording of some song. Puts me forever in your debt, you know.
