Yes, this madness did not pass me by

And here it is, my humble try to portray Fenris from Dragon Age II... Not that I like how the picture came out - but I'm rarely satisfied with my artworks. Perhaps I'll do better next time (and rest assured, there will be a next time - this glowy elf won't let me off easy).

The title comes from a song by Lake Of Tears, which I was listening to while editing this render. I thought it fits - the song is as broody as Fenris himself

The fact that he can lift that sword is a testament to his strength. I absolutely lovelovelove this.

I really like the contrast between the vast darkness of the room, the architecture makes it look forbidding and cold, and Fenris himself, very much alive and um, hot. His expression of angry gloom is perfect and I can really visualise him roaming this empty mansion, brooding and drinking. What you have done which many have failed is to make his very slender elven build look strong without making him uncharacteristically beefy. I I have a complaint is that the texture of the bottles is a bit too smooth and symmetrical. Yes I know they're glass but even glass is a little irregular. They simply stand out. Anyway, that's nitpicking.

Whatever it is you're angry at, Fenris...I didn't do it!/ feigned innocence.
I love your version of him, especially your take on the tattoos. Somehow, to me, those patterns always looked like a more elegant depiction of torture devices (e.g. the part on his chin and neck), rather than random swirls. I think you capture this quite well.
Beside that, his dilapidated mansion always intrigued me and I like how you did the interior, with that haunted bluish light and all the little details.
