He finds them as an alright species, certainly entertaining at the very least.

Biography:

Infant (0-25yo): Completely dependent on his parents, Sentinel was always kept besides one of his parents when one of them was out doing their job. When it was his mother's turn, she would occasionally listen to music while surfing the internet as the pup was kept close to her. She would often take pictures of her child and post it on the internet to show how handsome her pup was, and just image what he'll be when he grows up. Meanwhile when his father watched after him the time was mostly spent in silence, as his father tended to prefer a quiet atmosphere. Asides from Sentinel's squeaks of course, and when Sentinel began sounding quite the ruckus his father would purr to calm the youngling down before getting a bottle to feed the pup.

Toddler (26-30yo): Now capable of moving about, he proved to be quite the little devil-maker. When it was his mother's turn to watch after him, he would often get into areas a typical toddler shouldn't. Of course, it didn't help that his mother practically always beamed whenever she found her son someplace new and encouraged this odd quirk. As far as his mother saw it he wasn't getting into any serious danger considering he's kept in a safer part of their house with nothing terribly tall in vicinity. Asides from this activity, his mother would always play fight with her child as early training. She's often lightly pat Sentinel on his sides, stomach and tail as he would try and roll over to bite her. The bites obviously didn't hurt, but his mother would fake being injured and 'play dead'. This may or may not have upset the toddler into actually thinking his mother wasn't waking up, but she'd always laugh and reassure him that she was very much fine and still alive. When Sentinel's father experience this, he was a little more worried for the pup. He'd try to curb his son's behavior in such activities by keeping him occupied with his tail or something a little more safer.

Level One (46-53yo): As a kid, Sentinel had trouble in science and math, and would often have a tantrum at home regarding any homework he had on the subject. His parents then paid for a tutor to help him, allowing Sentinel to improve on the two subjects and catch up to speed with the rest of the students. As his parents were serious when it came to his grades, Sentinel did his best to get high grades to appease them. Outside of grades, Sentinel was seen playing with other zerogen in the playground. He would often playfight with others, and eventually learned the one vocalization all parents feared- the chitter. The moment Sentinel returned home from school, his parents could tell something was wrong with the way he smiled at them excitedly. The moment they heard the dreaded sound escape his mouth? It was the very thing they feared- having heard how it just won't stop from other parents. Thus, the two slowly backed up before trying to find places inside the house where their child couldn't reach them until he stopped. Unfortunately, the pup's quirk for getting into places he shouldn't from his toddler years comes back to haunt them, more-so his mother. Thus, his parents had to deal with the fact their child just wasn't going to stop and dealt with it. Thankfully, their anguish didn't last long as Sentinel began to grow bored from his parents no longer reacting to the sound. So, Sentinel stopped and moved on with his life. Besides that incident, family life was fine. The pair even decided to own their own personal human slave, and had the slave interact with their child to keep Sentinel busy under close supervision. Rest assured, this human had been checked relentlessly to ensure they would prove a safe resource for their child to interact with. The slave was a young child, just a little older than theirs if you went by human standards, and it taught Sentinel how to be more careful interacting with weaker species to avoid seriously hurting them.

Level Two (53-58yo): Sentinel still attends tutoring for help in math and science, and clear progress is still being displayed. His interactions with other zerogen still involve roughhousing, him often getting a little too carried away and is separated by an adult. Once there was an incident where another kid got their fur snagged by one of Sentinel's spines, the principal decided to talk to his parents. Of course, his mother was defensive of his actions, claiming that it was natural if a pup got a little scrapped from playfighting and was a learning experience. His father, meanwhile, apologized to the principal and stated he would speak with his son later to help train him be more careful interacting with not just weaker species, but their own. Later on at home Sentinel was told to playfight how he does with the human, but a little more force is allowed and be aware of his spikes. Sentinel took the news surprisingly well, nodding his understanding and practiced a little more with the human whenever the slave was up to it to help better himself. While spending time with this human, he began to become more attached to them. Sentinel saw them as a companion of sorts, not necessarily a pet but not exactly an equal. The human had interesting insights that were certainly amusing, and he'd often listen to their views and input. The human even told him their actual name, David. Considering Sentinel's parents would prefer he kept to calling the human Pet, the zerogen decided to only call the human by their actual name when it was just the two of them.

Level Three (58-90yo): Sentinel's tutoring pays off, ending with him easily managing his grades and kept them high. It's during middle school where his personality begins to develop the most. While he's good with his grades, most of it has to do with convincing other zerogen to fix up his work, and once he gets the grade he's looking for he'll tend to thank the person for their cooperation. Sentinel does what he can to get what he wants, and the majority of the time he's successful in convincing people to listen to him. He slowly starts to stop playfighting and begins to act more mature for someone his age. Outside of school and in the confines of home his parents start making him consider what job he wants to have. Though he still has a couple years before he'll be introduced to this subject in school, they want to make him more prepared and give him a book over the types of jobs he may want to consider. In his room, Sentinel will often read this book after getting out of school and finished his studying. Though he doesn't have a clear idea on what he does what to be within his grasp currently, he's been looking forward to the idea of being part of the military. It becomes a long-term goal of his, but until then he'll have to figure out what he'll be doing in the meantime. Though Sentinel doesn't ask advice from David, he does continue to talk with David regarding his school life while the human tells him very little of the chores he has to do around the house and whatever Sentinel wants to talk about. While Sentinel is still thinking of the job he wants, his mother takes him to her business to see if he would like to carry it on once he's ready. After watching what humans have to go through and the requirements for the job, Sentinel doesn't feel interested to partake in this if only for the fact it doesn't call out to him. While his father can't take him to any jobs he has, the zerogen does explain to his son what it's like and the pressure it involves. Though Sentinel is a little interested, at the end of the day he doesn't want to partake in this job either.

Level Four (90-301yo): Now that the time's come where he has to decide his job, Sentinel decides he's found his calling in life for the time being. He wants to work with space ships and thusly adjusts his studies to accommodate this. His grades are still kept high and he's viewed as a good student. Interactions with collogues are mature with an occasional break in it. He acquired two close friends whom also claimed they wished to be part of the military, but at their own pace to enjoy life at its fullest. During one school day Sentinel eventually came across a bully that was harassing another zerogen. The action didn't sit well, and so he confronted the other male and demanded that he leave the other zerogen alone. This didn't sit well with the guy, and the two ended up in a fight. Sentinel managed to win the fight, landing a hard uppercut that knocked the male unconscious. After checking to make sure the bully's victim was okay, he had the kid get some adults and explain the situation so that way Sentinel wouldn't get too hard of a punishment for having stood up for a person. Back at home with the parents being told what he wants his profession to be, his mother is a little disappointed. Nevertheless, she remains supportive of his choice, as does his father. The two supply him with useful books and other equipment to get him one step ahead of the game. Sentinel later on tells David about his schooling and the fight he had been in previously. The two become a little closer, Sentinel eventually seeing the human as an equal sorts, but still refers to him as Pet when in front of his parents.

Significant death of a friend (95-100yo): Unfortunately, human life spans aren't as long as a zerogen's. David unfortunately passed away and the body was taken care of. Sentinel's parents noticed their son wasn't acting the same, and offered to buy him another pet to keep him entertained. Sentinel reluctantly agreed, but stated that he would like another a couple years later when he had his own home. The death of David hurt Sentinel. He cursed a human's life span for taking his friend away, but he certainly didn't let this anger and sorrow affect him for long. At most, it lasted a few months before he got over it. There was school work to be done and if he delved in this sorrow any longer it may be mistaken by his parents or any others who've heard of his human pet that there was something more in the relationship. Considering this would affect his reputation and it was only friendship he felt, he didn't let himself spend much longer on the subject. After all, there'd be a time where he can have a new human.

Maturity-stage (301-320): Reaching sexual maturity, Sentinel spends his time at home. He spends the time by hanging out in his room, waiting for this stage to pass on. In the meantime, he continues his studying so that way once he returns to school he will be well prepared for the work in store.

Level Five (320-330): Continues doing good in his grades while his parents start searching for a place for him to live once he's ready to move out. They're not forcing him to move anytime soon, and are more than happy to let Sentinel continue living with them until he's ready to go out on his own. Sentinel is thankful for them giving him a place to stay until he's prepared, and uses this generosity to its fullest by preparing with the money his parents are giving him. He creates a list with basic necessities and other items he'll need to get once a place is found to move in. The years are spent just preparing for his future life out on his own.

Level 6 and 7 (330-370): Focuses on his profession studies. Outside of school he is still in contact with his two friends and often meets up with them at restaurant to talk about their life and any recent news. The three eventually start talking about their plans for joining the military. Though one of his friends is still considering joining, the other has more thoughts on starting a family and potentially becoming a scientist. The three decide to keep in touch even once their studies are over, and trade numbers to keep in contact.

After school (370+): Sentinel finds a place to stay and his parents help get him situated in these new confines. The house is large and contains a small room to keep his human pet his mother has provided him once all the furniture is moved into the building. The new human was nothing special as far as Sentinel was concerned, and mainly used them to take care of his house while he was away for business and only spoke with them to ensure there was a mutual agreement at most that the human would be well taken care of so long as they listened. He wasn't ready to start casually speaking to the human after his last one and how short their lives are, and this carries on to his newer pets. He only owns one at a time, and once they die he gets one roughly a month later. His current human is a female named Maria. The human has short, curly black hair, pale skin and her body's on the thin side while her eyes are green. She's around her teens and certainly isn't the strongest pet he's had, but keeps him occupied nonetheless. Unlike his other slaves, he holds more of an attraction to. Nothing serious mind you, but rather a form of companionship as he spends more time communicating with this human. He also learns quite a lot of human slang from the girl, which he uses when in her presence to be more 'in touch'. Outside of his home life, Sentinel works on the sale of space ships and designing them. He has a couple fellow workers to help him out and the business is smooth thanks to the help of his mother teaching him how to run a business professionally. But at the end of the day, he's like your car salesman. He knows just the right way to speak with customers to make them want to buy something and occasionally uses his charm on female buyers to get the most out of it.

Likes/Dislikes:
Likes-
- Spicy food. Like, he really, really loves anything spicy. It's his favorite and nearly every meal he has requires some level of spice. The hotter the better.
- Gifts. He loves the color red and any other warm color like it, so if you're planning on getting him something, make sure it fits these color requirements. Unless it's food.
- Has no problem with one-night stands and enjoys the pleasure of it.
- Smoking. He usually has a cigarette in his mouth while he's working or doing other work. He'll stop when he's around his human however, as he's heard it can cause problems and lower their life spans more than they already have.
- Snuggling up. He's a big spoon, and enjoys the feeling of someone else pressed against him.

Dislikes-
- He absolutely hates it if someone decides to backtalk him, even customers. It's when his short-tempered nature comes in place and he has no trouble throwing down with the offending person.
- Though he can handle it, he's not fond of sour food.
- Kids. He can't stand them and prefers to be far away from them.

Other:
- His scales are crescent shaped, a little pointed at the top and curves down.
- When he goes to sleep, he'll often wrap his long tail over his form. Considering how long it is, this often results to him looking like some sort of fluffy monster with a snout sticking out from between the folds.
- Don't even get him started when it comes to grooming out his fur. His tail practically becomes a log when he decides to shower, and a monster when he tries to blow-dry it.
- The third outfit in his ref is his pajamas.
- Prefers to drive to work rather than run unless there's traffic. He owns a nice sports car that's red and black.
