WOW. This was an amazing surprise birthday present (I don't know if that was intended, but the timing fits so, yeah!). The HD trio of kunoichi were all sort of creations by necessity. As such, their designs were really, REALLY basic. I love this new look for all of them.

Some fun facts about the trio...

Kana (top) was the first drawn,but the last to be created. She was originally just a Depths village ninja, but she quickly became my favorite of them. She was originally modeled after Kei form Dirty Pair.

Ame (lower left) was the first of them to have any sort of back story. She was originally based of a photo of a Sailor Mercury cosplayer (believe it or not).

Yuki (right front) was created around the same time as Ame (they are twin sisters, Yuki has been altered). She was originally based on a picture of someone cosplaying X-23 from the X-Men.
