Description I took this at night on the Brooklyn Bridge. New York isn't exactly the most patriotic place (pre-Obama), but they still fly the flag.

Thanks! I haven't been on here in forever! But I have a bit more free time now so I'm hoping to post more regularly. I'm actually still in Texas, but I'll be in New York this weekend. I hope it treats me well too lol. How is married life going? I saw your wedding pictures - you look beautiful!

Well tell your family hello when you get there for me It's been such a long time. I hope it isn't too cold there.

Married life is going well Better than I ever dreamed. So don't be too hard on me if there's ridiculous amounts of mushy fluff to be posted once my computer is up and running *laughs*

I can't wait to see what you've been up to in your scetch book!

Oh Corrie I'm so happy for you! And don't be ridiculous - I'm sure the mushy fluff is adorable, and I can't wait to see it. I'll be posting sketches as soon as I figure out how to use a scanner, but don't expect much. I haven't exactly been practicing as much as I'd like, so it's all very amateur stuff right now

Well I hope that you get at least a little more time to work on your art now that you are taking that semester off.

Have you started a new book? Or are you finishing up your older ones?? I hadn't heard anything about your writing in a while. I am excited to hear about what you're working on these days.

Lol I hope so too! I have started a new book - it's currently about twenty pages long haha, but, again, I am hoping to work on it more while I'm in New York. I'm also focusing on re-writing "A Twin's Tale" so it doesn't sound like it was written by a fourteen year old. I'm just hoping that I can intern somewhere and get my foot-in-the-door so I can finally get something published! Have you done any more writing? I was digging through a box of old school stuff the other day, and I found a short little description you had written in one of my spirals, I think from your book about Nimloth. It made me smile

*laughs* Oh I hope you get the muse-storming going! New York has got to be a great place to get those juices flowing
I still have outlines and random papers of that story; but I haven't looked at them since Jr. year probably, haha! I stick to art now I was never really gifted with putting my strange ideas into words on paper. Short things from maybe one or two perspectives are what I do if I write *shakes head*. Oh the insanity!

Lol I am here now, and I've already spent the morning in a cafe, writing up a storm! And I hope you finish that book someday - I remember loving the story and, who knows? Evan could be the next Edward Cullen
