Description I've seen a lot of maps and stuff people posting of their ideas for alternate history sort of thing. Personally, I go for 'Alternate Setting' myself.

Anyway, this is just a visualization of the geopolitical situation of post-Zero Hour in the Generals games.

The USA has become a paranoid, militaristic power that has used economics and politics to pressure several nations, such as Greece and Yemen, to allow US deployed forces in their borders to combat the GLA and keep tabs on the Chinese and expanding Russians.

The GLA is a broken organization, but they still control a good deal of the world through shadow governments. They're as bloodthirsty as ever, and have recently gained a powerful footing in South America.

The Chinese influence in Europe has waned, but has strengthened in Africa and South America. Chinese numbers are still legion, but that may not be enough with India getting involved.

The Indians worked hard to keep out GLA influence, and have recently shed their neutrality in the USA/Chinese/GLA conflict, and seized influence and power. After a short, bloody conflict with Pakistan, India's few holdings are indisputable.

The Europeans became swiftly tired of being influenced and manipulated by Americans, Chinese, and Russians, and have regained a good deal of their political power. Third world nations rely on the Europeans for political and economic stability, and Europe needs them to keeps their industries working, but fear of Communist infiltration is high, especially after the Basque rebellion in Spain, and the Finnish political schism, as well as Russian muscle-flexing, on top of the weariness of Chinese influence.

Finally are the Russians, who were once a leading supplier and instigator of the GLA. With the Americans weak, the Chinese being pushed out of Europe, Russia took the initiative, and began flexing its muscles around the world, with limited success.

Very interesting concept. So is Mexico an independent country, a US occupied country, or part of the US? How did Canada manage to remain under European influence?

I was thinking of doing a post-Zero Hours world map myself though in my version, China still maintains their role in the defense of Europe while the US is a shadow of its former self. They no longer even hold a seat on the UN Security Council. Still trying to decide Russia's role in the Eurasian Unity League.

Mexico is under American influence but remain independent. Canada maintained closer ties to Europe and France during the 'Interwar' period, and built more infrastructure with them instead of the USA.

I heard that C&C Generals 2 has been renamed and retconned from the Generals Universe.

Not nearly as much people would think. They fought a WAR in the fifties.
