The pyramid like and very famous (at least among photographers) mountain Kirkjufell with a cascading waterfall and a little rainbow on the left side of the frame complementing the beautiful morning scene.

I've seen many shots from here, but they barely ever show sunshine in the foreground. I've been there as well, no luck with the sunshine. Must be nearby vulcano with the glacier on top that acts like a cloud-magnet...

Thanks! Yep, we spent a few days in Grundarfjörður mostly with a lot of rain but on this morning we were lucky for a short time. Ten minutes or so after I took this photo rain clouds rolled in again and we left in pouring rain. So, for me, this is kind of a brief moment of calm weather there.
