Description this was a moment of creative genius (or so i thought). one of my favorite shots from this session. i was on top of a roof and he was climbing the ladder when i shot this through the rungs.

I love the angle of this it is really wonderful. I was reading some of the other comments and i know what you mean about stupid senior photos. I never got mine taken for that reason. Your portriats have alot more meaning to them

thanks a lot! i love playing with shallow dof. it was a really fun shoot. i just sprayed and sprayed and sprayed this kid with a water bottle until i had emptied half the thing on him. poor guy. it was a blast.

You did an amazing job with this shot. I like the blurriness of the ladder, but what I think really makes this work is the fact that you used that ladder to frame the Jordan's head AND show natural perspective of the ladder at the same time. This picture is Artistic on so many levels!

thanks you very much! i really HATE cliche portraiture, ESPECIALLY for senior pics! the images should NEVER be these canned pieces of mass- produced crap (ie. fist to chin shots...you know the ones) WHO SITS LIKE THAT?!
