I know what effect you were going for but you needed alot more blood on the wall, it needed to be much darker. And the brains needed to be drenched in blood. But still I got what was supposed to be going on, its good for a first try.

Good tips. Even as I was doing it I thought I should probably be using more. The blood on the wall is actually different from the blood on the ground. Wall was store bought, ground was good old Caro and food coloring. I may switch to Caro 100%.

It's cooked Quaker oatmeal...er, I mean..it's BRAINS! Well, it's supposed to look like that, anyway. Did it not look like that? Again, this was my first try at doing this, so I'm kind of guessing as to what will look right.

From my expierence with the stuff if it's been forced out of the skull it'll typicaly have more blood on/in it. I wasn't sure if you were going for brain matter or vomit on the wall, I'm sorry if that first comment of mine seemed snappy and rude.

Not at all! I'm sincerely asking for critical commentary, and what you're giving here is exactly what I'm looking for. I'll keep that in mind if I try to do this shot again, maybe use food coloring in the oatmeal.

Now the phrase "my expierence with the stuff if it's been forced out of the skull" is a little...interesting...

Due to a combination of taxidermy as a hobby and working on calls for funeral homes I've seen a decent amount of brain tissue forced from skulls.
Ever been curious as to how a body looks after being hit by a train? Don't be. It's totaly uncool and a huge pain to clean up. Goth kids who rave about death should try cleaning it up for a day.
