"P-38 Lightning". My contribution to the "Wings of Angels" project. A tribute to the art of WWII pinup and aviation art from photographer Michael Malak. It's a reconnaisance version of the P-38, isn't it?
Everybody note that there are NO GUNS in the central pod/nacelle's nose.
The small windows in the nose are for camera -- sideview, forward, and down (not pictured).
