the funniest thing how deviations are sometimes randomly arranged next to each other. if you care to have a look at my page, you'll see yours and the one that was next to it as my latest favourites. they fit perfectly in my opinion.

i saw to images together in my favs once and thought that they went well together, so i asked the owners if i could use their images to make a diptych... they agreed and this is it [link]

I once had a good BS session with someone about the question of whether shadows move. I argue that shadows do not move.

well... shadows can move even when the things which they are a shadow of stand still, but they rarely stand still themselves... unless, it is always something else which moves, and reality distorts to make shadows appear different

When the object that casts a shadow moves, the shadow is gone and a new one takes it's place. The shadow is not really "there" and only exists as a degree of brightness. It has no mass and cannot move. It is our perception that creates movement. Much like the "movement" of what we perceive on television. The colored dots look like people moving so that's what we see.

I am splitting hairs just for fun.

if we are inside a dark room, with no light at all, we have no shadow
we are effectively contained within a shadow
the world outside may be unsure if we still exist
but those who are afraid of the dark may scream "let me out"
and if anyone hears their screams
it proves that they still do exist, even though they can't be seen

to prove if a shadow exists or not
all you need to do, is find one that is afraid of the dark

Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men?
The Shadow knows.
