I love that they're both puzzles, but she's trying to puzzle out his heart in particular. And he's describing the Tarjani Mudra which is the gesture of warning.

It's a just concept, really. I wish everyone would treasure their completeness.

very well done, I see it as she's giving him a part of himself he never had, which is being loved? so she's looking after him and keeping him happy while herself just being there to please him? because it doesn't seem like he's giving anything back.

Excluding the fact that I don't, and never have, believed in the idea of "soulmates"--this piece is wonderful and whimsical and beautiful. (Although I don't see why that's such a "male" idea of love, it seems reasonable from either side.)
To indulge my science-nerdy perspective, love is like an atomic bond. Both partners need something to complete them, and they find that thing by sharing, or passing between.

I'm really surprised that you're the first to mention that. I completely agree. I'm not sure why I typed "my male perspective". It was probably to subliminally state that I don't know how women think. haha.
And I don't believe in soulmates either, or souls for that matter. Most people see this painting the wrong way and I like that about it.

Really? Huh. It seems quite obvious to me that she's giving him the piece, but it seems to me that she must be giving away a part of herself, too--so the only way they can both be complete is to share.
But then again, I'm not going to call myself an expert on the perceptions of others, and I can't control what they see, so. -shrug-

I like this a lot. It shows that as individuals we are all innately complete, but by being close to others, we can help to complete one another on our journey.

Really cool concept. =]
When I looked at it, I was imagining she was taking his heart-since it's in that area. Sort of the whole idea of winning someone's heart, was what I was thinking. ;]
It's really nicely done, and the general design and such is really original and creative~
