Commissioned portrait.been working on this one off and on for ages. Uni's been manic lately.
extremely pleased with the outcome of this one. considering the size is only A4 it was very hard to achieve a good likeness seeing as their heads were only about 3cm tall! not much else to say, apart from the dress being a pain in the ass to draw.
Tools of the trade:
A4 bristol board smooth, 250gsm
2H mech pencil 0.5, 0.3
HB mech pencil 0.5
kneaded & electric erasers.
tissue for blendning.

Wow! That is exceptional. All your hard work and pain paid off because without looking at the reference, this masterpiece stands alone. Beautiful detail, life likeness, and they really look alive and happy! Beautiful hair on the lady. Man is handsome and love his tux and shoes...the way you shade and tone is impeccable.
