Hi David, I ve been going through your (impressive) gallery and absolutely love this serie of portraits.

I have two questions for you:
I don't know much about photography, but the background almost looks as if shot in studio.
>> How do you get this kind of background ? Was it the place or is it obtained in post-production ?

thanks for the compliment ... in this case it is post production, others are taken in dark circumstances

I like his serious face and the way he plays the tambourine meanwhile - I'd usually associate it with happier, very lively songs and melodies so it makes for a very interesting contrast here I think it's also quite nice how his hand is blurred due to the movement, not too much and not too frozen at the same time, to me this is the best of the series
