For: January 2011 show at Blue Moon Gallery

Here is one of the paintings that I'm putting together for a body of work that I'll be showing at Blue Moon Gallery in January. I'm very happy with the end result considering how much detail I had to work with.

Inspired by 's piece Kimono_girl [link] . I had the idea of having a black and white piece with the only colors being from the woman's lips, her clothes and an accessory or two. I couldn't help but fall in love with the wonderful pose in Misew's piece.
