What really draws my attention is the way you draw the expressions of Sapphire, Pink Pearl and the two Rubies as they talk to Morganite and Blue Diamond. It tells of how different each Gem approached their respective situations.
On the one hand Sapphire looks to her superior in a pleading way, trying to be assertive while also not overstepping her boundaries. And Ruby comes to her defense in an attempt to take the brunt of the wrath of Blue Diamond.
While on the other hand it is surprisingly Pink Pearl who is confronting her owner, and confronts her in an argumentative way with no fear of whatever consequences she may face. Meanwhile Ruby looks absolutely petrified and fears that Morganite may just Shatter her for fusing with her status symbol.

With their view on pearls in their society I can see Rhodonites story being similar to that of the higher class falling for a lower class, the way eyeball gushed over the idea of getting her own Pearl must indicate they are given only to high ranks or special achievements.
