What is up with all the Steven universe lesbian stuff, because it's starting to get weirder. I don't know, I hope I'm not offending the artist, or any homosexuals, but this is the stuff I dislike on here. It's not that I don't like homosexuals, but everything on this page, eventually, gets sexual.... I would rather not spark up an argument, so please don't pay attention to me if you dislike my comment.

If you didn’t want to be disagreed with, maybe you shouldn’t have made a comment. The best way to go when you see something you don’t like is to ignore it, move on and find something you do like, and leave a positive comment on that instead, thereby spreading positivity instead of negativity. Also, this is she-ra and the princesses of power, not Steven universe. —it’s okay to not like something, but it still exists and deserves to be respected. LGBTQ+ people exist, if you don’t like them for some reason then just leave them alone and let them do their thing, they already do the same for you! ^^

If I dislike something, I will most definitely be complaining about it, as I would prefer not to see it anymore. Also, you seem to be saying I was disrespectful, but all I said was I didn't like the meaning of the drawing... So, I got a little confused there... what exactly don’t you like?
You say you don’t like seeing art depicting lgbt+ couples like the art I draw, and yet you “don’t mind homosexuality”? What are you complaining about? Do you support it or not? Are you trying to say you are okay with it existing but don’t want to see it ever? That’s schrodinger’s lgbt+, that doesn’t work.
And you can’t just make a comment saying you don’t like something and then say you don’t want to be disagreed with, that’s also not how it works. If you make a comment, you are opening it up for reply. What I was trying to explain to you earlier in a more adult way was this basic principle: if you don’t have something nice to say, don’t say it at all. That way you won’t have to deal with anyone disagreeing with you. If you want to make a comment that isn’t nice, then expect to be disagreed with.

Okay this probably isn’t my argument to but in on but I see your primary complaint is that everything gets sexual on this website, yea? This piece is not sexual in any way, as it is merely romantic. Nothing suggests that it is sexual. Also, even though you say you didn’t want to offend anyone doesn’t mean your comment isn’t offensive. And another thing, if you just have a problem with “sexualized” imagery, why did you drag lesbians into the comment? That didn’t sound like the issue you had with the image, so why bring it up in a negative way? And then tacking on the “I don’t mean to offend any homosexuals” isn’t going to neutralize how your comment can easily be read as offensive.
From here on out it’d probably be best if you didn’t voice your unnecessary complaints on pieces, as they never do any good. Your comment wasn’t constructive, so why post it? We all have a right to free speech but we also need to learn to respect an artist’s work and if you don’t have anything to say that could help the artist improve, it’s probably a good idea not to say it. Unless the image is straight up hate speech or something like that, leave it alone. You can complain to yourself, but try not to on here.

Well, relationships (family, friends, intimate) of all kind aren't walking down a heavenly beach with sunshine and rainbows 24/7 either and portraying them as such is pretty unrealistic. People go through lots together. As long as it's not like literally portraying bad behavior itself as romantic (like rape, heavy abuse & manipulation), and said character is forgivable and self aware at some point, then?

That doesn't make it a toxic ship, Catra felt hurt, her best friend since childhood left her for some people she just met! (Plus they do have a lot of chemistry) I'm not the best at explaining things so sorry that I didn't go into detail, I recommend watching some vids on why it's a GOOD ship so that you can understand it better!
