yeah I guess we Scandinavians like to drink a bit at our holidays. But when its dark and cold almost the hole year we have to celebrate while we can.

Because you only get alcohol in special shops (called vinmonopolet, age check included) or licenced restaurant and it's extraordinary expensive, they use the rare opportunities.
