Edit: THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR THE DD ;_;; ahh I never thought this would happen so I was very surprised when I found out haha////and he's just a random character I thought up of just for this drawing!!
Something I've been working on for the past few months slowly because my motivation for this would die a lot lol. There are a lot of new things I've tried with this piece, so hopefully it'll look okay \o/ but overall I guess i'm pretty happy with how it turned out!

Is the character somewhat based on the design for Romania from the anime/manga "Hetalia?" That's the first thing that popped into my head when viewing this -- I guess it's the hat and the hair.
Anyway, regardless of who the character is, this drawing is just wonderful. I think beyond the scenery and details, the lighting really plays the starring role. It creates the Victorian atmosphere and contrasts well with the outside darkness but the warmth of the room. Great work!

Ahh no not at all!! I didn't even know who romania was in the first place till people started telling me it looked like him ^P^);;;
but now that I've googled him I guess why people would think so
