How in the world did you focus on two and leave the rest blurry? :S Never seen it done like this before.

lol. It's again about diaphragm. The more you open it (f/2.8 for instance), the shorter de depth of field is. That means that the focus is done on the subject, the fore- and background remaining blurry.
