Thanks! As usual I used my good ole Photoshop for sketching, coloring, and adding in textures. Basically I do everything om Photoshop lol

Aww I actually tried photoshop a while ago, and the settings for the brush and stuff where perfect! But then I did something wrong and I lost all my settings, and I can't find them... I am using PaintTool SAI now...
Would it be possible for you to kind of thell me the settings you have for the brush (for the line art I mean) on photoshop..? it's ok if you can't, it just looks similar to the one I used to have...

Ohhh I see. You should check out Matt Kohr's basic brushes from Ctrlpaint.com! It's under the downloads tab, and I almost always use the hard round brush for everything. As for the textures I used the default brushes from photoshop, I believe it's always there, you only have to reload the brushes from the brushes settings in case you accidentaly cleaned the 'brush slate' blank. I really want to show you how but unfortunately I can't use my laptop at the moment. XD
As always, you could make your own brush! It might be some work but I tell you it's worth it to tweak the settings to suit your needs/style. I used to use painttool SAI as well (when I gave up on photoshop lol).

number one is an older picture of mine, and it has a lot of shadow and fog, number two has more intense contrast.
I think it most important thing is facial expression when drawing a human. Adding wrinkles or shadow in between the eyes (like example two) is how I do it. for your drawing I think adding a sharper contrast between the red of her hood and the black back ground would help the eyes focus. Using color will help your audience's eyes pay attention to what you are trying to convey. Making the pupils of the eyes in the center of the eyes makes the eyes more intense as well, and adding dark color in the eyes will also help the color pop. Did this help or nah?

I started reading June's childhood and I'm definitely saving it for later (before I sleep, when my brain's creativity is at its peak). So far I could tell that it's going to be promising, I could even feel the atmosphere even without directly explaining her surroundings, which is great in my opinion! Please keep it up
