Nice JobΒ Peppermint Patty WAS one of his ONLY main friends who was always FLIRTING on him!Β But she was also always COMPLAINING about certain things and which always got the both of them into trouble with the teacher at schoolΒ Also she HARDLY gives him a chance to talk on the phone and takes advantage of him at times Β

lol, yeah... I've just read about how the kite eating tree came to be, it seems Schulz himself had some kite flying issues of his own and had (more than 1) kite stuck on trees, and as they 'dissapeared' (while he was a kid ) he deduced the tree ate the kite... eventually he added that to the strip XP

As a kid I never knew what gender Peppermint Patty was, if male or female. It was also confusing because Marcy always addressed her as "sir", but she seemed to like boys. I finally found out recently (I know, a shame) that Peppermint Patty is in fact a girl.
