Description
OC-October 5-6: Car-Car the scarlet macaw and Chuck the hooded fancy rat. Car-Car is a bit stiff and has zero sense of humor. He also has a prosthetic, metal beak. Chuck is a notorious prankster and teasing Car-Car is his joy in life. They both belong to the same little girl and, though they don't get along, they're extremely devoted to her.
One day, the macaw and rat find their girl and her family gone. They desperately search the neighborhood for them only to find all the other pets in town in the same situation with their human caretakers gone.
Car-Car and Chuck band together with the other pets in their neighborhood to survive this new human-less world. They become something of leaders to the bewildered, frightened pets in town and they must lay down laws to keep the neighborhood pets from eating each other in their desperation and to keep them safe from the wild predators roaming the outskirts of town always waiting ...
