I really like how you read Drew Lexington. The way you have some of his fingers attaching to his wings is really cool. Kinda reminds me of one of those dinosaurs whose name I can’t remember for the life of me.

Pterodactyl?
Also, thank you ^^ I was a bit frightened about how people would react to this somewhat drastic redesign, because nowadays, people are a bit crazy and defensive when it comes to characters being redesigned. So I'm really glad that most viewers seemed to like or at least are fine with it so far. 😄

That’s good to know. I really like the gargoyles original designs, but sometimes it’s nice to see them in someone else’s style too.

Nice, But I like the old version of Lexington's wings better, other than that it's very good.

Thank you.
I guessed that would be a point of cretique. Its a drastic change, after all. Personally I think his normal wings are a bit weird...

The normal design reminds me of people with glider suits or flying squirrels. I don't know I guess I just like to see him with the Billy to hold stuff versus not being able to.

He's still capable of holding stuff with his remaining two fingers, its just more difficult. But Lex is a smart boy, he makes it work. ^^
The reason that I made this change isn't only personal preference, though. You see, despite their insistence that they can only glide, the gargoyles actually fly. With the exception of Lexington, they all have fully developed wings. Good for flying, basically useless for gliding. Their flying style is reminiscent of Raptors (eagles, hawks, etc.). They can use air currents to keep themselves up in the air without wasting to much energy by constantly flapping their wings, but that's not quite the same as the gliding of flying squirrels, who have flexible skins between their limbs, which essentially only slows down their fall, when they jump off a tree to get to the next.
In light of this; if Lex is the only one who doesn't have wings, only an inbuilt glider suit, he'd be unable to keep up with the others.
I know it 'worked' in the show, but that's really a bad case of cartoon logic.
(Cartoon logic is a problem that this show really seems to suffer from, at least when it comes to the world building. Doesn't mean its automatically bad for it, it certainly isn't. But I'm a detail obsessed person, and things like this just bug me.)

I think it's the whole Esthetic and that's getting to me. At least when it comes the hands anyway.
