She's so beautiful.
It is such an amazing compliment of opposites it seems. She is in a 'stereotypical' geisha pose, yet it looks like the kimono is made out of a plastic based material. An absolutely perfect compliment of traditional and new-age.

Very colorful. I like the unusual fabric used in the kimono, which just pops. Her hair looks lovely too.

She is a very beautiful model. It's honestly one of the best pictures I've seen. I went to a matsuri festival here in salt lake city hoping to see a kimono. A REAL ONE. Not some foax silk polyester peice of carp that some wannabe bought off of ebay. This looks exactly as I imagined a kimono, and a Geisha, would look. Splendidly done and, again, the model is gorgeous.
ps, there is a Geisha Lego minifigure being released in april 2011 as part of the series 4 minifigure realease. IT'S AWESOME.

Unfortunately this isn't really anywhere close to being a "real" kimono and even if the obi weren't sewed directly onto it, it is indeed opening backward.
I think the photo and the model and everything about this image is great but the clothing designer could have done some research. Artistic license is great but knowledge is greater.

Border is 1px too wide on right hand edge.
Apart from that, this is superb!

The model is beautiful, and the colors are so vivid! Really incredible. Not to mention how the lighting perfectly highlights her face, drawing the viewer in to notice the finer details of the shot. There is nothing wrong with this picture, but perhaps next time you might want to use a more detailed background, like an oriental palace or forest scene. A contrast of the colors here over something dark green, like leaves, would really make the color pop even more.
