This is a picture of the flooded Oder. Oder is the border river between Germany and Poland. Every year in spring, or around spring time the river is been flooded by the melt water coming from its spring. The large area is called Polder, in summer time cows and other animals are living on it. They are taken away by the winter. When the flood comes it covers the land with nutrient.
