The octopus will scour the ocean floor, searching for what many would consider junk. Octopi search for large pieces, to fit into, as to protect themselves. We took that idea, and applied it to our own octopus sculpture. He sits mightily on top of a treasure box, arms ready to defend. With bicycle chain arms, coupling body and light bulb head, our metal steampunk octopus sculpture is frozen in motion. Take a peek inside the treasure box, and you will find LED lights attached to a small battery box. Your choice of red, blue, yellow-orange, and green lights allows for a personalized flare.
