I think it's physically impossible for me to draw a 'dark' picture.I don't know ANYTHING about male anatomy. The face just looked more masculine to me, so I made it a guy. I am well aware that a heart is supposed to be on the left side, but I found it too distracting and placed it in the center instead. Work with me here. I'll go back and fix up the 'stitches' because they look kinda like nails...hey, I just noticed that...
*EDIT* Yeah...I colored it (actually not really) This picture was really just to let out some frustration (I kinda like it better as a sketch anyway)

I really like this.
One word of advice...the blood leaking from the heart is a little..."paintish".
i'd recommend thinner rivulets, to keep the blood from looking quite so thick.
infact, =bewitchedkat has a good grasp of the physics behind blood.

Looks great, the simple colouring and colours really suit the picture. Loving the heart too, stitches are the essense of all amazing art XD most anyways O.o

THIS definitely looks dark now... i think it's the sharp contrast of red against white for the eyes and bleeding heart that gives it this effect.

Actually, the heart is in the middle, the left part of the heart just works harder because it has to pump blood to the rest of the body.

Heck, i think it's pretty good. Especially the hair and the eyes...i really like the eyes. I think you could draw dark stuff, the hard part is thinking of a dark atmosphere to put them in. o.o

a easy way to start "dark pictures" would be using vasts amounts of blood XD or like those cool dark warlord dudes with lots o' blood and stuff ^^

What do you mean by a "dark" drawing? Do you mean as in evil, mean, goth?

Well this doesn't look too bad if it was only colored. If you want to set a "dark" mood to it, use dark colors..that usually works well.

I think the eyes look pretty cool :3 The hair looks really great, too! Even though its all loose and stuff it has a cool feel to it!
