This is an amazing pin-up for the next issue of HEAVY METAL by amazing artist ALEX HORLEY. Here he depicts a scene that appears in a story drawn by Sami Basri and Sunny Gho where I send ALICE to the Center of the Earth to find DAMON (FRANKENSTEIN'S MONSTER).The issue will be out next month just in time for San Diego Comic-con.

Strong as he is, i think Frankenstein's monster would be outclassed by even a small theropod dinosaur.

Man, it's like Frank Frazetta or Boris Vallejo was watching a kid play with his toys in the sandbox and re-imagined it as an epic battle. For that reason, I love it!

I love Alex's work because he can really draw! I see Frazetta but I also see John Buscema and a little Jack Kirby.Β Boris' work is good, but for me is a little over worked and rigid.Β Alex has life in his work and movement.
