Blue spheres special stage from Sonic 3.Well that does it for 2011, making this a grand total of 5 submissions this year (pathetic). Hopefully 2012 will be better. Have a Happy new year!

I'm going to be honest, I allways thought the special stages in the first two Sonic games where pretty painful to play.
Especially the half pipe stuff in Sonic 2.
The special Stages in Sonic 3 are actually pretty fun.
Sure, they can get frustrating. (mostly the Sonic and Knuckles ones)
But they at least require an actual skill to beat instead of flat out bashing you out of no ware.

Lol, someone made a hack where you had to get the Red Spheres and avoid the Blue Spheres.
The style here is interesting. It would make a nice HD update to our most HATED yet beloved bonus round.

That was one of the most coolest yet difficult stages to pass. Stay away from the Red Spheres, Go after the Blues spheres.

I remember this in Sonic3 and Sonic3&knuckles, i use to love doing this all the time that i would always get the SUPER emeralds(after you get all the original Chaos emeralds) and sometimes i would lose on purpose becuz i know i wasn't gonna play it again.
This brings back great memories.
