What is the meaning of the hidden eyes?

I wanted to portray the soul, or inner world, so I replaced the eyes with brushstrokes & swirls meant to represent her universe.  If you zoom in you can see tiny white paint splatters, like stars from within it.

It is a really good idea. The eyes are the window to the soul. it is hard to imagine what a soul looks like you give the should an image
