"Bow ties are cool."Matt smith as the 11th incarnation of The Doctor.
I do love Doctor who, and dare I say it, Matt Smith may be my very favorite Doctor ever. I've been meaning to draw fanart for the show for a while, and this actually mutated from a completely different idea I had started but wasn't really pleased with how it was progressing. Something about the old timey, simplified colors of retro posters just seems to lend itself really well to the whole Doctor Who vibe, and I shifted gears pretty quickly.
Drawn in sketchbook Pro, lined in illustrator, and colored in photoshop. I do get around, don't I?
I'm thinking about setting up a print account for my deviant art. Is this something people would be interested in?

He wanted to get caught up before watching this new season with 11.
I've heard that its been really, really good. One of the best seasons ever.

It has, I really love him as the doctor. I was so on the fence, because I loved Tennant, but Matt Smith is doing a fantastic job.
The last two seasons have been amazing, and to know surprise, as Stephen Moffat has taken the reins of the show and he kicks all kinds of ass.

I can see that. I don't usually look for the slash in stuff, but they do drop a few teases in there.
I'm actually really interested to see if they bring in Irene Adler, they've dropped a few hints around the web of the three stories they'll be basing the new episodes on and I think they mentioned 'A scandal in Bohemia,' so I will be excited to see that interaction.
