Description Here's another sketch of my QH gelding, Archie. He is simply the cutest, most gorgeous, most talented horse... ever. I'm only a tad biased, of course.
This only took about a day; I'm becoming very fond of that sketchy drop-off around the edges. That could be just because I'm lazy, but I like the end look.
This is a 9x12 drawn with HB - 8B pencils, and, yes, the picture is mine.

Who's a pretty boy? You might be biased about his talent, but certainly not his looks, he's a stunner! He looks like a very intelligent, very kind horse here. And personally I think the sketchy drop-off works very well to contrast the beautifully finished face with the sketchier, less important edges. 10/10 for design and execution

I think you captured his character real nicely, and one can tell this portrait was done with love.
I also like that "sketchy drop-off", it gives a nice effect.
